Create An Inclusive Learning Culture In Your K-12 Classroom Today!

If you know like I know, then you’re aware that educators are giving their best, but they’re beyond burnt out…as they should be!

Here we are, four years post-pandemic, and the effects have been crippling.

Educators are the new “front line workers”, but they’ve been operating without any of the tools needed to succeed.

Our students are ready to get back to normal, but the trauma is real.

Families are fed up, disheartened and a whole lot less trusting than pre-Covid.

All of this begs the question:

What do educators need to best support their students? And why don’t they have it??

Burnt out teachers lead to burnt out students…

Frustrated leaders lead to frustrated team members…

There are so many outdated practices that create barriers for the folks who work in our schools. You’ve noticed that, right?

What are your blind spots?

Are you helping to close the generational gaps? Or is your organization exacerbating them?

Now is not the time to fall back into outdated norms. In fact, it’s the perfect time to pivot right into the future. Our kids’ future.

Here at Disruptive Partners, we create professional learning spaces that center care for educators, staff and students, so that we can create a culture of learning where everyone thrives!

If you're looking for more effective PD to help better prepare students for the future, let me introduce you to

The Inclusive Educator™

An engaging PD training series for K-12 educators

who want to create an instructional culture where ALL students thrive!

The Inclusive Educator™, will show you how to:

  • Recognize (and challenge) historical biases in K-12 education so that you can interrupt harmful practices in classrooms and schools immediately

  • Create stronger connections with colleagues as a system of on-site support

  • Cultivate welcoming learning environments so that students and families are supported in an equitable way

  • Accelerate student learning using time-tested and proven techniques

  • Craft a vision for inclusive learning to align with indicators of student impact

  • Build bridges between students and adults to foster inclusive, instructional cultures where everyone thrives

We do this by providing training, development, and coaching that equipseducators with the knowledge, skills, and practice needed to create “inclusive learning cultures” for all students.

Ms. Wright's presentation was truly phenomenal. She created a space where I felt safe to be vulnerable, which in turn opened my eyes to the subtle, often inadvertent ways we exhibit bias. Her insights shed light on how we can work to overcome the misconceptions we may hold about both ourselves and our students. I sincerely hope to have the opportunity to see her present again in the future!

Session Topics Include:

Recognizing Student Trauma

How to recognize key signs of trauma in students (such as withdrawal, aggression, and difficulty focusing) and understand how trauma affects the brain— crucial info that allows educators to better connect with and support their students.

Understanding The Stories We’ve Been Sold

How to challenge historical biases and assumptions in an impactful way and create more inclusive classrooms and schools. Note: Biases are embedded within the K-12 system and educators often inherit and internalize these systemic viewpoints. It’s crucial to recognize and address these biases in daily practices.

Closing The Student-Teacher Gap

Emotional safety and academic success is top priority in our school environments. If you can see the school experience through the students’ eyes, you can better connect with and respond to their needs. Understanding how students experience school through their lens is key to adjusting practices to better connect and respond to their needs.

Connecting With Today’s Student Generation

The first mistake is assuming Generations Alpha and Z are younger versions of previous generations. They are not. Understanding the unique learning needs and preferences of K-12 students can make all the difference in your learning environment.

Incredible training! I loved that Dr. Wright taught by doing not just saying. She truly disrupted systems and spoke transparently and from the heart. I feel inspired and equipped to make my room an inclusive space.
